Chicago deep dish & London Style pizza in Manchester
Japes began in Soho in 2018 with a love of Chicago-style deep dish pizza. In 2023, our team created London Style Pizza, bringing together the textures we love in a distinctive Japes recipe. Now you can try both at our Manchester pizza restaurant on Oxford Road.
Chicago Style
A deep, buttery crust with tall edges and generous layers of mozzarella. Cheese goes in first, followed by toppings and tomato sauce, creating a rich, pie-like pizza with a soft centre and a crisp edge.
London Style
Our round pizza is around an inch thick, with a soft, airy centre and a golden base. Cheese reaches the sides of the pan and caramelises as it bakes, creating the crispy cheese crown that makes London Style a Japes signature.
Choose favourites such as Margherita, Pepperoni, Sicilian Stinger, Hot Honey and Forest Truffle. Looking for pizza by the slice on Oxford Road? Seven London Style recipes are available as slices, starting at £4.99 for Margherita. Our slices are cut from extra-large pizzas: each one is roughly equivalent to a third of a standard Japes whole pizza.
